Two power games that people play are based on weaving an illusion, and once the Grand Lie has been told, the truth doesn't overcome the lie. It just reaches the point where no one knows who to trust. Ripples of effects go out from the Grand Lie, and they continue to draw more people into the crisis. Subsequent ripples reinforce the lie.
How do you overcome the Illusion?
Once the Grand Lie has been told, there is only one thing that you can trust, and that is Universal Law. At this point, every person on the planet has been exposed to the Universal Law of Cause and Effect--also known as the Golden Rule or "Do unto others as you would have them do to you."
That does not mean that every person on the planet stands on the principles of Universal Law. The power games are bad, not the people, and everyone plays the games.
This is not a sense of judgment, but letting go of the power games that people play. At the ultimate conclusion of the power games, whatever you do makes things worse. You have relied on something or someone that cannot help you get your life. The power games stop working. This is the point of circular thinking, that you must do something, but you don't know what to do, but you must do something....
If the games no longer work, what will work?
We think of wars and genocides as power games, but another example is diabetes. How many people judge someone for having diabetes? It is based on the game of Gluttony, one of the Seven Deadly Sins. Imagine how difficult it is to unravel the disease of diabetes! People turn their life over to doctors who don't know how to cure diabetes. This is what we are facing as a planet. We are unraveling the illusion that leads to someone dying. The idea is to let go of the games, not your life.
Relying on Universal Law allows you to step back out of the crisis. It can be used as a punishment when you break the law by playing one of the Seven Deadly Sins power games, or as a tool to help you get the life you want.
Relying on the power games comes from a sense of fear and misunderstandings, and our books go into this in far greater detail. We get into the crisis by taking small steps, and to get out of the crisis, we must take small steps, too.
For mankind to get out of our crisis, we must work to create the international government step by step. Each proposal introduces an idea that allows mankind to function on a higher level, and allows the idea to permeate throughout society.
The first proposal is the Exit Strategy for Iraq, and it addresses the root cause of the conflict in Iraq that led to a global genocide. It is contingent on the United States working to to amend our Constitution.
The first idea is that the games are oppressive to the people, so if there is a dispute between two world leaders, they can deal with it in court rather than the battlefield, and the monies now wasted on war will go to support the people instead.
Our government does not have to go out to bring in other nations, but just work inside our country and assume responsibility for our own actions in Iraq. To end the genocide that is tearing apart the planet, we must stand up and defend Saddam Hussein by addressing the fact that there were no WMD.
Our government has turned responsibility over to the US military, but they cannot solve a problem that is a policy decision. They follow orders. Then, we must assume responsibility for undoing the damage we have done by helping to rebuild Iraq and allow them to have their sovereignty.
